Children grow SO fast. I say this at least once a day, especially as I watch my friends children grow every time I see them. It’s just a blissful reminder of how portraits of your family and your kidos is so important. To freeze a moment in time, with those chunky cheeks, or adorable hair do, or even the size of their feet or clothing they wear… is so worth it. I’ve had the privilege of doing my dear friend Alena and her husband Joe’s family portraits about 4 times in a year and just to look back at their previous session last fall or their extended family session, just shows how much change happens so quickly.

Documenting your child’s life means so much to a mother and father. And I’m so grateful for all these fun evenings with these four. I love these boys as if they were my own. Oh my they are so loveable!! Family pictures at Hodge Park, a new favorite park for the North Kansas City families. The color of fall is my favorite!
