My real journey in photography began when I attended a missions trip in Mexico for the first time over 15 years ago. It was the moments I showed those little faces their first portraits, when mama's tears rolled down her face when she walked into her new home with her first framed picture of her family on the wall. I finally understood the importance of photography & started my business in 2009.
I'm lucky creativity & photography is one of my gifts & I understand I have been blessed so that I can be a blessing to others. It is my joy to be a storyteller & preserve the authentic stories of people around the globe. A professional preserver of life. As a photographer I get to do the same thing. I'm capturing & saving memories on one of the most important days & experiences of your lives. Meet Jana Marie

My grandpa always had 3 cameras around his neck for every life event: A polaroid, a video camera, and a digital camera. we always laughed at it, but now I look back and understand he had taught me something so much bigger...

obsessed with Milk, Mac-n-cheese, choc chip cookies, animals, nature, travel & hot baths. needs sunshine in her every day. loves a big hug or a big sangria. grew up a tom-boy, played 9 sports, Plays the piano, loves to renovate homes & old trailers & dreams of traveling the world in her airstream. A little too obsessed with her golden doodle FLoyd & is thankful for God's daily grace & hope.

I HAVE A HUGE SPOT RESERVED FOR CHILDREN, ANIMALS, AND MINISTRY, BECAUSE OF ALL OF YOU, WE BEEN ABLE TO DONATE OVER $6200 TO THE COMMUNITY OF TIJUANA, MEXICO, HELPING BUILD OVER 9 HOUSES FOR FAMILIES IN NEED, AND A FOOD KITCHEN FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD, FEEDING OVER 250 KIDS AND FAMILIES A DAY. WE HAVE A LOVE FOR OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE LEAGUE, COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL, HILLCREST TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, OUTREACH INTERNATIONAL, PAL (POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE), FIRST HAND FOUNDATION, ANIMAL SANCTUARIES & MORE.
A PORTION OF EVERY WEDDING & SESSION BOOKED WITH US WILL GO TOWARDS ONE OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS ABOVE. I am a mom of four, a happy wife, and a lover of the outdoors, delicious beer, whiskey & coffee, and fun times spent with friends and family. Life is perfectly imperfect, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Before my dad handed me his camera when I was 7 years old, I actually remember holding my hands up to my eyes and making a little box with my fingers to see what life would look like through that tiny lens. Being a skilled photographer himself, my dad was the one who taught me my earliest lessons in the principles of photography. It laid the foundation for me, and I am grateful to this day for his support and guidance. In high school, I received my first camera and won several national print and portfolio awards. Finally, while I was attending college, my art teacher suggested that I photograph a wedding for a (very trusting) couple who was comfortable letting me try my hand at it, in exchange for them simply paying for the cost of my film. Sold. And I never looked back.
