What a weekend for Madi & Austin’s Kansas City wedding at the Oliver. This summer weekend documentation started Friday night for the rehearsal. Then a full day from start to finish documented. Every detail, every moment, every event.. this is the longest wedding I’ve photographed in awhile but somehow it went by really fast. Their entire wedding team was top notch, they fed us each meal, the families and friends were so welcoming. We truly had a blast working with this whole crew. I might not have been lucky enough to photograph all 3 of the daughters weddings like DJ Fernando did, but I got to photography Madi’s sister married at the Jewel Box in St. Louis a few years back. When you find a group of stellar people to work with, you stay with them.

Sometimes we’re even referred by their bridal party, which keeps us in the same amazing circle of friends and family. That’s such a fun and meaningful experience.

Being invited in to document life’s biggest moments is an honor. Then, as their families grow, I get to capture their newborn sessions, family photos, and more. They continue coming back and trusting me with their most cherished memories.

I never take that lightly. It’s a gift to be allowed into those vulnerable, beautiful moments. I hold space for them with care and gratitude. Thank you all for having me back. It means the world to me.
