Sarah & Ryan, married at the Magnolia Venue and Urban Garden in Kansas City, Missouri – Oct 2, 2022

Sarah & Ryan had way too many photos just in the getting ready process. The light was perfect, the venue’s rooms were perfect, everything was in one place, everyone was relaxed and fully present, the sun was shining, couple glowing, fur baby in attendance and so many great things in between all of that.

I’m so excited for Sarah & Ryan, both whom I met at Camp Moja, a camp for special needs in the summer, many moons ago. Sarah also played volleyball at my alma mater Truman High School under my same high school coach, and we realized her mom, prior Spanish Teacher at Truman also knew just about everyone I knew (of course). I love when the world becomes small. I love even more being entrusted amongst so many great photographers, to be the one my couples choose to document their intimate moments for them.

Congratulations to all of you. A literal glowing couple!

The most valuable piece of advice this glowing bride has for the planning couples:

“Get everything done early and hire a wedding planner. They’ve been doing this stuff way longer than you’ve been thinking about it and they recognize the little details you’ve probably forgotten. If possible, also visit your venue when you’re thinking of design choices for your event. It’s way easier to figure out if something is going to aesthetically fit the space if you take the time to actually bring it into the space.”
