We’ve traveled and adventured as often as possible, but never once have be snorkeled in the ocean off a catamaran in a rain storm.

It was a tad bit worrisome and chilly as it started to rain, but once we braved the (what we thought was) cold ocean, it was so warm. What an experience. To have the rain falling on you while swimming in the open ocean was something awesome I’m glad we did. That had to be one of my favorite memories. It soon cleared up and the murkier waters became clear as the blue sky, reflecting a bright azul. So pretty. We saw the stone sculptures underneath the ocean to help the coral reef (the car, people that represented the Cancun community, turtle and more).

We spent time on the Isla Mujeres shopping, enjoyed the relaxing catamaran, and laid out by the beach and pool back at the Royalton Rivieria Cancun Resort Beach. With not many travelers these days, the resort was more scarce and it as glorious. It’s as if Jarek & Holley had their own private resort for their 25 or so guests.

It was such a fun weekend watching beach bums Jarek & Holly up close for their wedding. Congratulations to you both! I hope your dreamy beach wedding was everything you hoped for.
