The saving grace for my family has been to get outdoors these quarantined days. We’ve done lots of walks around the neighborhood, we lay and listen to the birds, we’ve picnicked in the yard, drawn on the sidewalks, tossed the frisbee. Our favorite thing to do is stand in the sidewalks and talk to our neighbors reminding them we love them, they aren’t alone and putting some joy on both our faces. Our kids have loved saying hello to the neighbors.
During this time also I have been doing a free 30 day online photo challenge teaching people how to use their phones better while home. It’s been so fun. So while we’ve been walking around the neighborhood and taking photos while we walk, I figured, we can be documenting everyone’s current stories while they are outside playing with bubbles, grilling, sitting on the porch or whatever that looks like for them. What a way to honor them during this time. So we started offering 15 minute front yard photos for such a great deal. What better time than Easter week to document a few families as well. We even photographed an adorable brother and sister hiding their eggs.
Here are a few of our favorites from the sessions.. Happy Easter friends!
