Kelsie & Brock, married at Cure of Ars & The Abbott in Kansas City on New Years Eve | 12.31.18

This family has continued to have us document their growing families. They have become not only some of my favorite clients but my favorite people. I’ve fallen for every one of them and their hearts, talents, charm, kindness, grace for everyone! They’ve treated me and their entire wedding professionals team like family and that is something that is always so special to be a part of. We are so thankful for you all!

Kelsie & Brock wanted an elegant, laid back yet super fun New Years Eve wedding. Twinkle lights, fur, confetti, a killer photo booth experience with balloon art (aka Banana Who? Booth) good memories with family and friends, and maybe snow. The plaza lights  and the Abbott event space’s rooftop gave us that gorgeous flare we needed for night time portraits. Their day was so them and we soaked it all in.

My favorite memories of their day: Their ginormous dinosaur dog soaking up all the love from the ladies in the bed for their robe photos, the cutest little ring boy, how they braved the cold for some outdoor portraits, the way Brock kept looking at Kelsie during toasts, how Brock and Kelsie were so excited to marry each other they kissed “early” and had a couple “kisses”,  dad’s face the first time he saw his baby girl or how Kelsie wrinkles her adorable nose when she has a big laugh (my favorite), or when everyone popped the confetti at midnight while ringing in the new year together with good energy on the dance floor.

I want to say a thousand times again, congratulations to you both and both of your families. I know you will be blessed beyond imagination doing life together with such amazing families.
