Taylor & Kyle | Sept 15, 2018 at The Guild

This day was just magic. People as stunning on the outside as they are on the inside, full of life and vibrant, relaxed and so graceful. This day was full of surprises. From the confetti popping when Taylor & Kyle were pronounced husband and wife at their ceremony at The Guild, to Taylor surprising Kyle with a New Orleans style band that marched down the alley only to put a look of shock on Kyle’s face as he heard the trumpet coming.  Taylor and Kyle’s mom had been planning that surprise for so long and the bridal party had already prepared pulling out their feathers and umbrellas as the bridal party and couple was introduced into the reception venue. They marched around until all of their guests hopped up and joined them celebrating just like they would in New Orleans with a march. Seriously so much fun! Taylor & Kyle also took photos with their kitty that wore a floral crown.. their first “family photo,” we did a fun little session with Taylor in the claw foot tub of their hotel room, and the whole day just went so smoothly with a perfect overcast on the skyline of Kansas City while taking pictures at Liberty Memorial’s WWII Museum. And that never happens. We lucked out with weather, gorgeous light, fun people to spend the day with and a really great party!
