Megan & Darrick | July 21, 2018 at First Creek Farm

I knew from the second I met Megan & Darrick that they were my kind of people. Our #jmpcouples are always pretty fantastic I must say. Both of these two have hearts of gold, they are so sweet yet so hilarious. You have no idea how many silly faces I documented this day. Their friends and family were so much fun to spend such a beautiful July weekend with.

Some of my favorite moments from the day: the dancing on the “hummer bus” on the way to the reception, those WOOD TIES (so awesome), the most adorable flower girl literally “droppin it” on the dance floor (must see that photo below), everyone singing worship songs during the ceremony, the bridal party constantly cracking me up with their funny faces and goofiness, Darrick’s mom tearing up when Megan was walking down the isle with her dad in tears, and THEN when Darrick’s mom turned to see him crying too (it was a sob fest everywhere you all), when Megan’s dad couldn’t pronounce his daughters new last name while giving a little toast at the reception.. I also loved just how giggly Megan was with her new husband all day. They were flirting as if they were on their first date, and I loved that. Shouldn’t our wedding day and our marriage be filled with those kinds of eyes for each other? If it’s not, then I think we missed the point. These two, I truly believe, will have this kind of love for one another until they are old and grey and that is something special to witness from my eyes. I hope you all can see that spark and the love they were surrounded with on their wedding day, from the perspective of myself. Such an honorable job, I thank you tremendously for having us there to do such a big thing for you.

And I must say, I don’t mind sharing our anniversary week with such a cool duo either (us being July 20th and their wedding July 21st).

Congratulations to the Mr. and Mrs. I have been dying to share these photo with you, anxiously awaiting your return from your honeymoon. I hope it was so relaxing and you’re ready to relive the big day again. How did it go by so fast?
