Hannah& Sam | Married at Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, May 26, 2018

Normally in May you are worried about getting rained out for a midwest wedding. Who would have thought it would have been 95 degrees instead. Luckily we had the charm and ambiance of the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City to photograph inside all day. Florals lush throughout the Kirkwood Hall area, cocktails in Rozelle Court, incredible art as decor. It was quite a dreamy wedding for Hannah & Sam. Some of my favorite moments were when Chris, the groom’s father started tearing up when he went over to take a photo with his son on his wedding day. I think it hit him how special this day was seeing his son, the groom, all grown up. Or maybe when Rob, the bride’s dad, teared up during his speech at the reception, the flower girls and their floral crown’s as they so perfectly placed each petal down the isle for Hannah. Or maybe it was watching all the frat guys sing to Hannah during the reception, with a few hilarious solos. My absolute favorite moments of the day were seeing how big Sam’s smile was every time he looked at his bride. It is priceless you all! I’ve never seen a man glow as much as Sam did when he saw her. The whole day was just magical as you can tell below. Everyone so happy and thoroughly enjoying each other’s company. Exactly how a wedding should be. Everything was so genuine, timeless, thoughtful, elegant, and just perfect.

I just want to say a big congratulations to the fabulous duo and all their friends and family. Thank you for letting us celebrate with you in such a rewarding way. Cheers!
