Wow. This one was a hard one to blog. I just spent so much time with this amazing group of people at this new destination location, Now Onyx in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, that I photographed a TON! Like, way a ton. It literally took me weeks to prepare this blog post and I’m still not sure if I did this stunning wedding justice. I will be honest, configuring and laying out a blog to be as beautifully told online as it was the day of the wedding is a weak point and struggle for me I feel. Due to the fact that I had brought our new Mavic Pro Drone and have both photos and videos of the week and wedding day from that, and then I photographed the resort, ocean and beach side hang outs, the ceremony and reception, all their friends and family, dance nights, hot tub, dinner and meals, palm trees and pools galore and just so so much. I hope you can get a feel of the great week Kristin, Alex and all their family and friends had this week. There were just too many sweet moments and sweet people to include and it is already a long feature. So sorry I couldn’t feature everyone in the blog wedding story, but if you are excited to see their FULL wedding experience in the Dominican, visit their entire gallery of images here, and don’t forget to congratulate Kristin & Alex on a lovely marriage by leaving them comments here below! Enjoy. And thank you so much Bobbits and Siegels for having me along to celebrate with you in this stunning location. I hope it was everything you dreamed of and I know you two are going to be the most amazing married duo.
PS. This is only my second time flying a drone so I know the video isn’t the coolest. But a sneak peak at least into some video work from the Dominican.
Now for the over flow. If you’re interested in just seeing a few more of the new resort, Punta Cana’s Now Onyx, scroll through the images below. Of course you can always see TONS more detailed photos on their gallery listed at the top of this post. Doesn’t this just make you want to get away? That infinity pool is hilarious when people are standing and swimming around the edge. I will say, the food was my least favorite thing here, and with it being a new resort, the phone’s shouldn’t have been not working on multiple occasions to call for room service. But the entire resort is SO nice with it being brand new and I love that it’s not too small or too big, and no matter where your room is, you always have a quick walk to the beach. The beaches here are just magnificent! I’d definitely recommend going back to Now Onyx, but my only negative feedback if any, is that i’d rather offer our Full Service Destination team, Collective Gatherings to do your events, because the wedding team at the resort is still young and learning a lot. We had a few issues there. But other than that it was a pretty stellar week. I’d give it a 3*** (maybe even a 4 if the food was better) rating!
Oh, my gosh, these are STUNNING!! What clear, beautiful pictures that depict the day so perfectly!! Looks like a blast!!! Clearly, these will be a wonderful reminder FOREVER of the day!!
Congratulations Kristen and Alex! You’re a beautiful bride and the wedding looks amazing! Lots of fun to see these and all the smiles, it looks like everyone had a great time.
Love you,
Diane
