These girls really might be the most precious little things. Model poses, they’ve got it. Outgoing humor, they’ve got it. Rambunctiousness, they’ve got it. Cuteness, they’ve got it. Smarts and wit, they’ve got it. I easily kept mistaking them for teenagers or young adults. They were quicker in their wit and responses to my trying to keep up. I was left speechless quite a bit. They are brilliant little girls, don’t be fooled. And oh so fun. I felt like I was on a play date myself. Choosing my words carefully, “Give mommy and daddy a BIG hug but [whispers] be very careful not to choke them.” I’m sure Allie’s home is filled with love and capture the flag and tent building, cookie baking and tons of laughs! Oh my how I loved this session. We spent time running into some very clear glass walls while trying to find the center of the maze at the Nelson Art Gallery. While the girls weren’t laughing, I felt very bad cracking up every time they’d run full speed into a glass wall. It was so deceiving though. I too had to walk with my hands in front to make sure I wouldn’t hit like a bug on a windshield too. But they were troopers, continuing to log roll down the hills and play in the teepee. There is lots of fun art right now with the silver tree and interactive sculptures at the Nelson in Kansas City, you need to go check it out.
If you are needing a designer for your invitations for wedding or family, definitely check out Allie with Announce This Design. She is by far one of my favorite collaborators and professionals to work with in our area. She designed our own wedding invitations which I am still quite obsessed with. See how incredible they were here.
View all of their images in the gallery. Love your whole family Allie!
