“Mike and I met two years ago in Lawrence while we were both attending a KU graduation barbeque of mutual family friends. We hit it off right away and started dating shortly after. Mike proposed to me on Christmas Eve in Rome, Italy, where we were attending midnight Christmas mass at the Vatican! It was such a special place for us to get engaged. We will be getting married in Lawrence this fall and will live in Lawrence as well. We are so excited and cannot imagine a better town in which to begin our lives together!”
