What a beautiful venue this was.. the Sawyer Room in Kansas City has one of the prettiest bridal suites for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in. The historic building carries lots of interesting stories and history with its big tall windows and original ceilings located in the heart of downtown Kansas City. And what pretty colors for a winter wedding. The navy blue long dresses for the bridesmaids were classy and appropriate for winter colors, with a splash of creativity in the florals to bring all the warmth of the day from the start to the reception, together.
Abby so excited to see her groom for the first time.. I loved their first site. And then on to pictures with the bridal party at Union Station. Oh how I love the twinkle of the Christmas lights. Luckily we’ve had great weather so they weren’t as cold as they could have been.
And we haven’t shot a candlelight ceremony since the fall so I appreciated the challenge. The vintage church located in Westport was SO gorgeous and cozy for winter, as we sat between the old stone and the candles that ran the isle. A very beautiful wedding in the midwest it ended up being. I am so honored that Abby and Eric decided to spend the day with me as their photographer.

OH, my gosh, what a beautiful wedding – – — great pictures and a fantastic venue. Great fun!
Your wedding looks beautiful. I was wondering if you could tell me how much it is to rent the sawyer room. It looks really nice
Hi Ana, I’m not quite sure. You would have to contact them directly. I saw that you posted on the Union Station wedding also. Both places are beautiful. I know Sawyer Room is a little easier to work with, but they are also picky about their wedding professionals you hire. Contact both and see which place would be a better fit for you. Both are stunning [smiles]
