Finally posted. We’ve been so happily unable to post Leah & Nick’s beautiful wedding due to it being featured on STYLE ME PRETTY yesterday. It has been such an honor working with Style Me Pretty, one of the biggest, if not THE biggest wedding blog in the world. And I’m just tickled to death that these two charmers were my first couple to be featured with them. It’s hard not to fall in love with the glamor, the details and the adorableness of the beautiful Bauers. Leah and Nick, Oh there are just not enough words to explain how incredibly awesome this couple is. Seriously.. I’m not even going to try. All I have to say is you guys are ideal, your wedding day was ideal and you two make an outstanding couple. We need more people and more love like you have in this world! And I have been so blessed to be working with you both, becoming radical friends and Nick has been pretty humorous working with Matt Hawley and I on my upcoming demo video.
So glad I’ve got to re-connect with Leah too. I don’t know if you all knew, but Leah and I were on the Photo Lab staff in High School for our Yearbook staff. Ya, we were pretty cool back then. And I think working with her for the last year or so has “re-sparked” that creativeness in her. Nick, also with his surprise to give her one of my previous cameras I was selling, for a Christmas gift.. And even more sweet surprises on the wedding day. I think it was one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. (You’ll have to scroll down through the photos and read below to find out.) Or wait.. maybe my favorite part was the stinking cute flower girls and ring boy flirting with the cameras all day. Or the best man’s speech (Nick’s dad).. or even the fact that the ENTIRE family was busing their moves all night on the dance floor. No, I think it’s the fist pump after announcing Nick and Leah were husband and wife. Or the details.. Man.. I can’t decide.
All in all, the wedding was fabulous and there were so many incredible memories caught for you all to love on. So don’t forget to leave the couple and their families some love, letting them know how much you loved spending the day with them, how much you missed being there, or just how fantastically beautiful they are together.
Enjoy Mr and Mrs! Thank you again for setting the standards for my business, my brand, and my relationships with my clients.
Love you both to pieces!

Love all their decor!Nick’s adorable surprise for Leah was so sentimental. He wanted us to hand him one of our cameras so he could snap the photo of her the minute he saw her walk down the isle.. because he wanted to remember that moment for the rest of his life. First of all, that’s awesome! Second of all, she was so shocked, you have to see the photo I snapped of her below with her reaction once she realized what was going on. This is Nick’s photo! Yay.. look at that pro!BAM! What a fun photo of the ring boy doing the worm! One of my elementary school teachers. Love this photo!Matt Hawley with Hawleywood Films did a “Same Day Edit” wedding video we showed at the reception. It gave us all goose-bumps, and I snuck a shot in of Leah whiping away a sweet tear. Man.. it was a powerful film. See it by clicking here.
OH Jana and Phillip!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!! LOVE YOU BOTH!!!
jana, fabulous work, as always! leah, you are beautiful! and you made the berg look fantastic!
Holy fantastic Batman! I can’t believe our wedding has come and gone so quickly. Looking back through these images has pointed out memories that I have already forgotten. They look great! We should get married more often! 🙂
Jana & Philip – these images, like all of your work, are exceptional. We are so blessed to have worked with you and are extremely grateful that you captured the moments that we’ll reflect on for the rest of our lives. While this day has come and gone, your work will serve as the foundation of the memories we’ll share for eternity. You narrated our story with perfection.
We honestly could not be happier with the all around experience and all of the support you gave us during the entire hitchin’ process. We too, are so glad you and Leah “rekindled” your fire and that I’ve gotten to know you and gained two fantastic friends. We look forward to spending a lot more time together!
Jana, these are phenomenal! Your shots at the Berg are friggin’ amazing. So inspiring! Congrats to the happy couple!
Impeccable photos and a very fun night! Good job everyone.
What beautiful pictures! Love the picture of Papa Jeff helping Braden with his tie, that’s one for the memory book – they setting was beautiful and the couple radiant! I am glad you captured the joy that was prevalent at this special wedding!
Awesome-awesome-awesome pictures!!!!!!! Love them all!
These pictures look amazing! It was such an amazing day and you were able to capture so many special moments.
Leah and Nick,
Even though I wasn’t there, hearing about all the planning from Terrie and seeing these awe-inspiring pictures, I just got to experience the beginning of a eternal covenant relationship with you two!!
I agree with you Nick….we should all get married more often.
Remember these photo’s and use them often to remember your love for one another …….especially when hard times and fights come (as they do for us all). You will grow stronger as a couple because of the firm foundation you planted on your wedding day. God’s greatest blessings to you both!
Love you, love your show!!!! These are Super Flippin Fantastic!!
