Oh melt me. These adorable dimples, the dance parties, the ornery cousins and all the twirling in our spring dresses along with this stunning floral backdrop made for some pretty fantastic spring mini sessions in Kansas City if I do say so myself. One of my favorite ways to photograph children is to just watch them in their element. Let them play and tag along with my camera. No forced smiles, no sitting still for hours on end, just pure joy, pure playfulness and genuine grins. All the rawness and the creative minds of little kids is so intriguing to watch unfold. And of course parenting and “being a kid” is nothing at all like sitting perfectly still we all know that. This moments are how we see our children and these raw moments, these are my favorite.

So, I rally love doing mini sessions as we travel throughout the globe and we are planning on doing them throughout 2018 and 2019 if it’s a service you all are needing. If you keep requesting, we’ll keep doing them. Follow along our Instagram and our blog to see where we are headed next and if you can get your mini session in while we are in your neck of the woods.
