One of the sweetest teachers you can ever have, the most thoughtful, smart and organized friend to everyone, and such a fun person all around.. Julie is always the one organizing fun events and pulling in social activities with everyone. It was time to throw her the most killer baby shower for the new mom to be. With a love of books both her and her husband Ben share, it was only appropriate to go with the “Children’s book” theme to help grow their baby book library. The school desks and dreamy story-telling-night-time decor with colorful stars hanging throughout were only necessary. And we definitely couldn’t have had an appropriate shower for her WITHOUT some Mizzou baby clothing. Of course. I hope she enjoyed the absolutely affordable DIY paper book details and hanging book mobile. She requested “not too girly,” so we splashed in some unique turquoise, purples, pinks, golds, oranges and yellows. Doesn’t it just scream happy? A beautiful reflection of Julie and Ben. I hope we summed them up perfectly, with all of this fun decor and this adorable space. Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy to be. We love you. xoxoxo
