Beloved sessions are genuine, fun, relaxing, ‘non-posey’, documentary, authentic. I love them. It allows me to capture you… as you! Together, individually. How he makes her laugh. Her gorgeous and contagious smile. Beloved sessions break down the wall of feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera and by interacting, we get more images that aren’t stiff or fake. Images that tell stories. Images that let you feel as if you were right there in that moment with them. And they always turn out so beautiful.

Danielle & Wes shared a letter they wrote together during their Beloved session and it was so sincere. He is so good to her, and her to him. I loved getting to know these two. I felt like I had known them for years, and we had only met on this rooftop just minutes before their session started.

If you are looking for a quiet and stunning view of downtown Kansas City, make sure to visit #PrairieLogic right in the heart of the #Power&LightDistrict . There was a little red box car, a piece of art right  there near the outskirts of the rooftop. A place you can rent and just have a fun party or getaway.  It is gorgeous up here. And we were alone so there were no distractions.
