This wedding I was very excited for. Some of my favorite wedding professionals were all collaborating together with Jessica + Nathan to put this wedding together (see professionals listed below images). And it was JUST as fantastic as the bride and groom had dreamed it to be. I’m telling you, great weather follows me. And this outdoor wedding had the most dreamy weather. This country barn wedding was held at Lone Summit Ranch in Lees Summit, Mo. We are one of the last few weddings of 2013 that will be held at this stunning place. Lots of opportunities for great images, and a relaxing day as everything is right there at your fingertips. No driving, shooting at the location of the ceremony AND the reception, a lot of elegance with the natural landscape. Â These are my favorite types of weddings. No stress at all. And Jessica was ready about 1.5 hours ahead of schedule. I’ve never had a wedding that was EARLIER than planned. Prompt, organized, artistic, fun, enjoyable, honest, fun loving, trustworthy, close to family, Christians… a lot of great words to describe this couple and their friends and family. And ironically, once again, this wedding seemed to be a reunion for me, knowing just about everyone there. It’s funny how small the world becomes, especially when you shoot a lot of weddings of people from your local high schools. I won’t hold it against Jessica that she was a Chrisman High School native though [wink].
Congratulations to this cowboy boot wearing couple, so in love. I wish you both so much happiness Jessica + Nathan. You’ve found one another in this midst of this big world, and I know that Nathan will treat you Jessica, like a wife needs to be treated. Just by the way he holds you, laughs with you, and the things he spoke about at the reception—brings me to tears.
