What a beautiful snow we got in Kansas City this past week. We’ve had about 24 inches total accumulated over the last two storms. The details, the sledding, the little flakes that fall on your hair, and the beautiful sunshine that peeked through the clouds, reminded me of all the winters I remember having as a child. Megan and Marcus braved the chilliness, even though 34 degrees is quite warm for our typical winters. We had some snow ball fights, their little pup Piper who dove head first into the snow every chance she could get, and there was lots of “snuggling” to keep warm from the dampness and ice. I kept telling Megan “I totally approve” of Marcus. He is so good to her, and you can tell how warm their hearts are and how sweet they are together. I love seeing a guy treat his lady with such respect. And these two not only very kind to one another, but they are outdoor adventurers: kayaking, rock climbing, biking or any other “thrill seeking” experience they can get their hands on.
