Of course the midwest has been in a drought all summer long. The driest summer we’ve had they said. I’ve only had two outdoor weddings this 2012 season, and for some reason, the ONE day that Casey and Brandon decide to hold their wedding outdoors at the beautiful venue, Unity Village… is the ONE day that God decided he would water our earth. {grin} “If it rains on your wedding day, it brings good luck to your marriage,” everyone kept telling Casey. It was the last thing she wanted to hear as she’d always dreamed of having her ceremony outside. Little did she know, an hour before the start of the ceremony, the skies cleared and the sun barely peaked through to dry enough of the ground so that Casey and her beautiful dress could walk down the isle to see Brandon “exactly” how she wanted to see him for the first time.
It made my day to see them together as their whole body language lit up when they saw each other for the first time. Beautiful moments like this are what MAKE a wedding day!
So congratulations to the two of you. I could not be happier that you’ve found each other, and your friends and family have collided. And I wish you so many overwhelming blessings for your business AND your lives you’ve started together.
Enjoy reliving your wedding day all over again. Cheers!
