So much for me trying to keep my blog posts down to 12-15 photos. You see.. I keep getting these really incredible couples that I get to shoot on their wedding day that give me such amazing expressions, show so much love, and I am just surrounded by some really neat people.. always. I just can’t help but want to tell their entire story. So if you get bored looking through so many, I’m sorry. But you can see below, why I have such a hard time. They are all so stinking fun. (And it doesn’t help that Julie is one of my favorite people on the planet.)
And Julie and Ben couldn’t be any more perfect for each other. I love them both and was so touched just seeing how they have grown together just from the time I met Ben for the first time a few months ago in L.A. for their engagement session, to their wedding day here in KC in July.

Jana, you really captured the essence of love, warmth, and joy that carried the wedding day! All the essentials are here from Liz's hanger and all the details of the reception (like Ben's periodic table of elements seating chart) to the exuberant dancing. You also captured the small moments of intimacy between Ben and Julie. Most impressive, there's no sheen of sweat on faces or clothing in that KC heat we had! It was wonderful to meet you and hang out with you and your date, especially at the rehearsal dinner when you actually got to relax!
