Lauren & Ryland..Simply sweet. What a presence God has at this wedding and in this relationship. This was without a doubt a true celebration and example of a pure relationship who honored their relationship with such a powerful God and friends and family. It was just a fairy tale wedding to me. To watch the pastor of the church, also the father of the groom who was the music minister of the church marry the two almost brought me to tears.

12 years this church has been here. Started by the groom, Ryland, and his dad’s family. And this church rocked. It had green modern walls, a completely separate building for the youth, a contemporary look and structure. And did I mention there was like a million beautiful young adults who attended this wedding. I think God has just been blessing this church and growing its population like wildflowers.

I just loved this whole day as a second shooter. I loved Lauren’s bracelet that she burned on her wrist from church camp, and the tattoo of the date of when she got baptized. I loved the way Ryland looked at his beautiful bride all day, especially when she was tearing up. I loved seeing the girls pray before Lauren went to see her groom for the first time.. and I loved how Ryland wrote and sang a song to her when he purposed, and again in front of the entire wedding. I could go on and on. Mostly I just loved being a part of this wedding in such a big way and I hope that one day I will be able to reflect and share such an amazing and rare love with my groom like they both had together!

And yes I leave the best for last…I also loved shooting with one of my favorite photographers Laura Kathryn. We go way back to 8th grade where we traveled the world to Europe together. I have loved watching her business grow as she is incredibly talented. You can check her pictures at the link above.
