I’m just going to have to go ahead and follow Erica & Case around for the rest of their life and document their life and love story. [smiles] After spending a week with their family, friends and this fab duo at the all new and modern Breathless Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico, I just knew they were a blast! Their beach side wedding was so elegant, smelling of fresh florals, flowy sheer and touches of Mexico in the details and maracas. I thought their Mexico wedding was just gorgeous. (Their wedding images blogged on our site here is a MUST see!) But then I walked in to the Grand Hall at Power & Light in Kansas City, Missouri as they so quickly invited me back to photograph their “home reception” for 400+ guests and I stood there for about 20 minutes paralyzed with beauty! I literally couldn’t even start photographing. I stood there talking to Lisa their wedding coordinator just in awe at the details that just oozed all over this venue! From head to toe they thought of it all. From the smallest little rhinestones from Yellow Brick Graphics on their menus on the plates, to the cake that stood about 3′ taller than our heads with detail that took her over a week solid to so delicately place, to the stage being set up for Lost Wax to come back and rock the party, to the little poofy flower girl dresses, there wasn’t anything not thought about here either. And so many of my favorite professionals to work with, near and far!

Erica & Case and their families are just so thoughtful to everyone and everything. When I first walked into the bridal suite upstairs, Erica and  her mom gave me a gift (and they know me so well!) They also got me a customized Yeti with my name in gold script surrounded by pink and gold glitter. With my love for the outdoors and a touch of classy wedding this was such a perfect gift. I immediately put it to use and haven’t stopped using it every day since. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your thoughtfulness.

I was so honored to be a part of this day, the week, the whole process, and more importantly it was an honor to be a part of THEM and their story. I feel as if I was welcomed into their families with open arms and feel like i’ve known them forever. Couples like this make my job so much fun.

So congratulations to all of you again! Reunion 2019 anyone?
