When choosing a location for your engagement or lifestyle session, or even portraits on your wedding day, think about places that are out of the ordinary. Places that are meaningful to you: maybe a place you met, where you like to spend your free time, where he proposed, or something sweet to your story. For Shannon & Cody, Powell Gardens in Kingsville, Mo had that perfect unique fall flare that is different than most portrait sessions in the Kansas City area. It was so fun walking around this perfect fall evening, leaves starting to change all the little critters in the woods and bubbles in the pond. You can tell that these two value fun and laughter in their relationship. I really do thoroughly enjoy seeing the connection between my couples. Towards the end of the session, I got in their “bubble” a little bit to get some close ups, and noticed they both had that same “look.” That smize (smile with their eyes). And then their dimples both peaked through and I just melted. Congratulations to you both Shannon and Cody. Can’t wait for your New Years Eve Wedding 2017!
