This rain! …

October is everyones favorite time to shoot their sessions, and here in Kansas City it has been flooding and raining what seems like non-stop. Well, once I drive 3.5 hours to the Big Cedar Lodge down in the Lake of the Ozarks for Ali & Dillon’s Beloved session, the rain can’t stop me. And they stuck it out through the mist and the sprinkles with umbrellas in hand. Thankfully it stopped a bit before the fog came in before sunset, just enough for some beautiful natural pictures outdoors. The Big Cedar Lodge is known for it’s landscaping, rock walls, waterfalls, cedar buildings, lodging, conference centers, restaurants, weddings, scenic views and tons more.   Ali & Dillon wanted just that. Ali having worked here for a few years and both of them attending Missouri State, only felt like a second home to them here. I love having fun and silly couples. Couples who will dance in the rain and make the best of anything. And these two, having dated over 6 years know they can make anything fun together.
