This is my GORGEOUS friend Melissa, and her handsome husband Shay. They have been married for EIGHT years… and Melissa just told me last fall that they had NEVER had professional pictures together (other than their wedding day of course). :::jaw drops::: You see, this is about the craziest thing I’ve heard, because Melissa herself is a professional photographer in the Kansas City area and NEVER has she taken a moment for her self for some great images. And she is a supermodel with her intriguing eyes and high cheek bones. Uw lala. (Ha em), and then here I am not even married yet and have made my charming boyfriend do at least three shoots with me, and now that we have an adorable little golden doodle pup, I’ve just been crazier about getting him as he grows.

So this is what we do as photographers in our spare time, we step in front of the lens for a change. Here’s to our Beloved sessions and our puppies on the Independence square near the temple in what’s left of the warm colored trees of 2012’s fall 2012.
